eligibility for CAT
Hi all
I have one doubt regarding the eligibility for CAT.
I have got more than 50 percentage in my BE final exam (74% overall) but due to some unavoidable circumstances I had taken one year gap between my second year and 3 rd year?
Am I eligible to apply for CAT?
And what are the criteria for XAT/JMET/GMAT.

I am coming across such a question for the first time.
As I remember the only eligibility criteria is to score 50% in final exam so I think you should be eligible to appear CAT.
Better if you go through last year Booklet and check if anything is mentioned about it.
Let me do some reach and I ll let you know if I come across anything with certainty.

For CAT there is no upper
For CAT there is no upper age limit like IAS and other such competitive exam.
The average for full time mba in India is around 22-24 and for 1 year executive program it’s around 28-30.

Please told me about mean of CAT eligibility in BE 50% and 74% overall.
My % in BE is nearly 51%.

time table for issue of application forms for cat exams
Hi,
I want to know when will the forms to apply for cat examination be released or issued i.e i want to give this exams and want to start preparing for the same but need to know all the dates regarding cat for this year and next as well . please do it at the earliest as it is very important to me.
CAT 2006 Details
No one can tell you the exact date unless the notification is published but most probably CAT should be held on 3rd Sunday of November.
The last year details were
Last date for receipt of completed CAT applications: September 9, 2006
Dispatch dates for admit cards: October 16, 2006
Date after which IIM should be contacted (in case of non-receipt of Admit Card): November 3, 2006
Common Admission Test: November 19, 2006
Call for interview sent by: January 2, 2007
Last date for receipt of completed applications: January 31, 2007
Interview schedule: February-March, 2007
